    Hello and thank you for viewing this beautiful 1800 Draped Bust Half Dime, graded AU53 by NGC.
    As per writings of Ron Guth. Most examples show a fairly straightforward strike, though some weakness at the outer boarders is sometimes noticed. The tip of the bust and the corresponding area in the clouds on the reverse may also show weakness. At the high end, eye appeal has a lot to do with the final grade, as some coins are simply more remarkable then others ( such as this one ) . All in all none are perfect because of the technical limitations of the time period. Look closely at pictures and you will see this will make a great addition to the best of collections.
